The All-College Writing Contest is made to encourage interest and quality in scholarly writing by all undergraduate pupils enrolled at the school. The competition is sponsored by the Center that is writing and by faculty members from many different disciplines.
Pupils whoever documents win honors into the All-College Writing Contest make educational distinction respected at the Honors that is appropriate Convocation. Winning essays are posted in Lake Forest’s on line book, Lake Forest Papers, and the winner gets a money award.

1. All Lake Forest College undergraduate students may engage.
2. Expository writing (no fiction or poetry) from any Lake Forest university program.
3. Only 1 entry per pupil may be submitted.
4. Entries should always be submitted electronically.
5. No thesis that is senior be awarded the All-College writing award.
6. Documents are judged on quality of prose, utilization of proof, and quality of argument.
7. Lake Forest university faculty users judge all documents employing a review process that is blind.
